Well it has been an eventful past few weeks to say the least. So I will try to give everyone a good idea about what is going on and all that.
First off, we all just wanted to give a big hug to Shells, she has recently resigned from staff and has decided she would like to move on from the group a bit. So we would all like to thank her for putting so much into this group and being such a kind a generous person to always share her time with everyone else. There will always be a place for Shells.
As far as the other staff are concerned there have been a few topics circulating the staff boards, one about how to organize the new site we keep dreaming will come into existence once Invision Power Services releases IPB 3... yea right. If any of you would like to add any ideas as what you would like to see, feel free to post here, create a new topic in feedback, or you can always message a staff member with your comments and suggestions. The other topic that has been circulating is about Member+ candidates, you guys know who you are, we are keeping watchful eyes on you all to see who is up for the prestigious rank.
For a bit of housekeeping I want to remind everyone, we have rules. I've never been big on rules, I think most everything is common sense, and if you don't have it, well generally I don't bother or worry too much over it. But I am not the only person in the world, and occasionally I do like to see some initiative on the part of people to show a little respect for themselves by respecting others. So if you find yourself saying FUCK, consider that other people don't really want to hear that sort of language. The staff isn't here to be your parents, but if you find yourself toeing the line we will give your a reminder that there is still boundaries that must not be crossed. All in all, I have never been more impressed with any group of people as much as I have been impressed by everyone here. We are pretty awesome, not much to debate there. Also... on the list of housekeeping items. If you got friends, who are cool, remember they do have to be cool, then invite them.
Another announcement... I have recently added a link for "Runeology Mibbit Chat" for lack of a better description. Basically if you click it and type in your name on the page that opens, you will be transported directly into the channel. There have been quite a few suggestions regarding our current web client on the forums, but because we are planning on doing a more thorough overhaul, probably in May now, I hope this temporary solution will help.
Also for those of you that don't listen to RAMBO LIVE IN THE MIX, I suggest you start. I do a few hours a week over on Zybez Radio, lately I've been slightly more busy than usual, but yeah, check it out if you like... some sort of music.
If you didn't know, I hear Jagex is launching their new game around the second week of April. There will be a beta and I hear it is for current members... so look out for that if it floats your intergalactic boat.
Finally, WE HAVE BLOGS, its true... its okay I forgot myself. But yea, the blogs are still here. So if you want to comment on this topic and you are just reading it from the forums... click the link at the end here to visit the blog entry.
