It has been a while since we blogged and so as none of the other lazy nubs on staff have done it I will. (I love em all really).

Congratulations to all those who finished exams and are now relaxing for a few weeks. Summer is a time for sun, sea, sand and massive xps *looks sidelong at Jake*. Enjoy.

Dave has been busy. IPB3 has been promised since October and we have waited, tried the beta, updated, downgraded and re-upgraded. The new forums are looking great, and everyone seems to be liking the status feature. Huge thanks to Dave for all the work he has done.

There are many tweaks to happen though yet, not least of which is the warning system which looks negative atm instead of the positive it should be. There is also an issue that some of the content has been lost in the transition, we will be looking to sort that too but if you have written any guides could you possibly return to them and check no content was lost? These things will be sorted over time.

We have been running as a group for a long time now. I say this often but I think for new people it is worth repeating. The group was set up as a mature friendly community to play together. The forums were intended to share success and information. We are pretty unusual in that many of the people here at the beginning are still here and we have gathered some awesome new people on the way. There is always space for more though, there are many players out there who would love to be part of a community like this, if you find them then invite.

I will be away of Friday for 10 days then back for some pretty big changes in our household. More of that in a couple of weeks.
