First some background info (Taken from Tip.its guide)
"The Fight Caves
The Fight Caves is the ultimate man vs beast challenge for RuneScape's strongest players. It consists of battling countless monsters, ranging from level 22 all the way up to the level 702 TzTok-Jad. Ouch! If you wish to complete this mini-game successfully, you will need to have a high combat level (110+). We have provided a suggested inventory for you below, however this will vary depending on your character's levels.
As this mini-game can take many hours to complete, Jagex added an option to log out without losing your progress and having to start over. To do this, click the logout button ONCE at any time during a "wave" of monsters. You will get a message in your chat window that your logout request has been saved and you will automatically be logged out after the current wave. Next time you log in to your account, you will still be in the Fight Cave and the next wave of monsters will start. If you click logout again before then, you will lose your place in the game and will have to start over. Logging out to save your place is NOT recommended after reaching the level 360's(see below) as your prayer is turned off upon logging in and you can be instantly hit for some very heavy damage." Level requirements- Although it is possible for anyone to enter the caves it is highly recomended that you have at least the following combat skills,
-75 range -70 defense
-60 prayer
The Gear- Some people recomend doing the fight caves while having guthans armor with them at all times...... I find this to be a waste of inventory space due to the fact that if you follow my guide you should get hit VERY little.
Here is a pic of the gear that i would suggest wearing
Helm- Veracs helm>Robin hood hat>torags helm>Helm of neitznot
Amulet- Amulet of Fury>Amulet of glory>Amulet of Power
Torso- Zamorak/saradomin/guthix dragonhide chest>karils top>black dragon hide top
Legs- Verac Skirt> Zamorak/saradomin/guthix dragonhide legs>karils legs>black dragonhide legs
Cape- Fire Cape>Skill Cape>accumulator
Bow- 2 10/10 crystal bows>karils bow with 3.5k racks> Rune crossbow with at least 500 diamond bolts (with an accumulator)
Boots- Ranger Boots> Bandos Boots>snakeskin boots
Ring- Archer Ring>Ring of recoil (lol every little bit helps /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> ) The Inventory
yes, there is a ton of waves...it usually takes me around 2 1/2 hours to finish but i watch tv and stuff to keep me entertained my quickest cape was done in 1 hour and 6 mins
Killing Order
- NO MATTER WHAT, ALWAYS KILL THE NUBBY LVL 22's FIRST....they drain your prayer and are annoying THEY MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!! 2nd always kill the 90s with your dragon hally spec.. if you have decent melee stats you should be able to kill them with one special attack next, go for the 360s. The longer you are forced to pray magic the more super restores you use. Next i like to kill the lvl 45s.. always range these because they always recoil a 1 back on to you if you use melee. and last i like to kill the 180s later in the guide i will teach you how to keep them from attacking you while you kill all of the other monsters.
Waves 1-14
- This should be no problem for you, range the 22's first then range the 45s up until wave 14, simply d hally special the level 90s to death you should take almost no damage in these waves
Waves 15-30
- These waves are a bit harder. You will encounter the Yt-MejKot (level-180) he is pure melee and needs to be stuck behind other monsters or in one of 4 special places inside the fight caves which will become your best friend and can be seen here >>> img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i210/slayer0704/fightcavemap.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" /> Getting the monsters into these spots can sometimes be difficult but the trick is to stand above the "toe" of the boot shaped rock which i will be refering to as the "italy rock" the white dot here shows where to stand>> img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i210/slayer0704/fightcavemap-2.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" /> This will force the monsters to walk directly from the west and when they get close to you turn on protect melee and run to the center of the boot (the heel of it) this will cause the monsters to get stuck on the toe of the boot where you can safely range them. Once again these waves should not be too
I am thinking about giving this ago soon. I was thinking it may be helpful to explain what is in the inventory at the section you have a picture. (Yes you've caught me I'm a complete fight noob. I don't recognise the spear or pots. )
The upside of being a noob is that I can test drive your guide without prior knowledge :-)
the 'spear' is a dragon halberd price -[ GE ]: [M] Dragon halberd: 267.6k (Today: +2,472gp)
The blue pots are range potions, the yellow are saradomin brew and the pink super restore potions.
The 'saras' and restores are used together - the sara's heal hp but reduce other stats so you need to pot a restore brew afterwards. Three doses of sara are fully restored with 1 dose of restore. Try these out somewhere before hand.
The restores act on prayer too - so can be used in place of prayer potions - they are a little more expensive to buy but heal 1 more prayer point each as I remember.
good luck! most people fail this quite a few times before suceeding.
think it's about time you updated the video link since it's dead. and the small videos of the attacks, as jad himself was updated so the attacks look diff
