Runeology

Items needed: Games necklace, ammy of ghost speak, multiple spirit wolf, spirit scorpion and desert wyrm pouches.
Items found during the quest: (You can bring these if you want) 2 planks, 4 steel nails, a hammer, a rake, a seed dibber and a limpwurt seed.

Head to the ruins in the wildy – the quickest tele is either BH or clanwars via games necklace then running in between the two.



There will be a spirit wandering around, follow her movements until she is inside the house. There you will be asked if you want to follow a force pulling you, answer yes.

Next talk to the male spirit, he will be unable to hear you so you must communicate with emotes, basically doing the opposite of what he does. Each time you get an emote right, a ring will disappear around the girl – but if you fail too many times, the rings will reappear.



These are the ones I figured out:
Cheer – yes
Angry – shrug
Bow – shrug
No – angry
Yes - No
Wave – shrug

Ask the spirit girl (make sure your ammy of ghostspeak is equipped) what is going on, she will be hard to understand but wants to meet in a village to the west.



Head to the ruins on the west western most part of the wilderness, beside the bandit camp. Talk to the spirit girl, she rambles on about some beast and barrel, giving you instructions on how to help her.

Run around the ruins and find a bucket, 2 planks, 4 steel nails, a hammer, a rake, a seed dibber and a limpwurt seed (found in a crate near the rake).

There is a barrel beside the girl, ask her to take you back, use a bucket on the barrel and then talk to her again. She will wash in the now filled barrel.

Talk to her again, and she will ask you to find her food, so head back to the real world again. There is a log right near the statue you are standing by, pick the mushrooms and talk to the girl again. She will eat, find her and talk again.

Fix the wardrobe in the real world and return to the spirit, she will now be able to access the wardrobe. Speak to her again and she will tell you about a limpwurt plant and a doll.

Return to the real world and rake the farming patch, and plant your limpwurt seed. Then wait for it to grow (approx 20 mins).

Talk to the spirit again and she will collect her doll from the farming patch, and will now be able to talk much better! She will ask if you would like to go to the farm, if you say yes you will be teled there immediately, and you also learn her name is Summer /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />



Speak with Summer again and she will tell you about her problems, and how you can help. Follow her down a ladder to the altar. Go back to the real world and collect 5 bones and a skull, then return to the portal in the house to go back to the spirit world.

Go down to the alter and use all the bones and the skull on it, to awaken the disks. You will see a short cutscene when this has been achieved.



This is where you will need your pouches, so make sure you have them - bank if needed.

Head to the first disc, which is north of the ruins. Summon a spirit wolf and the best will run over (dont worry it wont attack, just push you out of the way if needed), you need to get the beast, yourself and the wolf all on the disc. If you dismiss the familiar just as the beast steps on, it seems to work.

Repeat this for the other 2 discs, and the beast will be pwned. Talk to the people who capture the beast to end the quest.




Reward after the quest Go back to the village (the west one) and equip your ring, stand on the portal and operate the ring. You will be teled and gain 10k farm xp. Run a bit north to the forgotten cemetery and do the same, this time you gain 10k prayer xp. There is also a portal near the axe hut for 7.5k attack xp.

The magic tree in the west village is an okay place to wc, if you cut the tree in the spiritual world, you get cursed logs but when you exit/tele the logs will turn to normal magic logs.
