ok i have received alot of pm of ppl asking me how to make sig like mine , so i will try my best to explain it :

first me i use camtasia studio to make vids heres a link if you want to download it http://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasiatrial.asp, i suggest you to download it cause i used camtasia to make my guide,btw its a 30 day free trial.

now that you have downloaded camtasia, ok to make video sig like mine first go on rs and go in the show equipement stats interface then open camtasia and a message will apear asking you what to do click on start a new project by recording the screen


then click on "region of screen"


next step is "select region"


then select the region of your screen you want to record


and make your video (it dont really need to be long it can be like 5 second)

now the editing part. if you want you can remove unwanted things in your vid by underlighting the part you want to remove and click on the scisors,like this:


when you have done this its the time to add text in your video to do this click on "callout" in the task menu then on "add callout" then chose "text callout" and write what you want to put in your vid.

4. write your message on the text box.

you will now notice that the callout box is only in the beggining of the vid like this:

because of that the text will only apear in the beginning and will disapear after, well thats not what we want right?we want the text to stay all over the vid

to make the text stay all over the vid you can strech the text bar like this


EDIT: if you want to add zoom effect do this:

first step is to click on "zoom-n-pan":



then click on "add zoom-n-pan key frame":



then select the screen you want to zoom in:



and click on ok in the top right corner
now for the zooming out first of all click on the timeline where you want o zoom out:



then click on "show full screen":



when you did that click on ok again and then on finish

this is what the finish product look like



now that the editing part is done, how to transform your vid as a gif animation file.

first click on "produce video as" then select gif,if you want you can either click next to all the option who will apear next or if you want to put things on it you can select them (you will know what i mean when you do it yourself):

finaly we are done, the last step if to host your gif just like you were hosting a picture and to put the link on your sig place......hope my little guide helped

and for those who are wondering why when you record full runescape screen it make you lag so much , yea lol i got pmed by many ppl saying it lags when they make full rs screen record , heres wat you have to do to make the lag go away :

go on your desktop
right click your mouse
click on properties
click on setting tab
in the lower right corner of the window theres a button called "advance" click on it
then click on troubleshoot tab
and drag the arrow all the way to the left

NOTE: you have to do this everytime you want to record full rs screen window without lag , what this thing do its that all accelerations are disabled so it can concentrate on the vid , so dont forget to put your setting back to normal when your done recording

for a little signature you have to produce it as a gif BUT if you want to make a real video and post it on sites like youtube ; megaupload etc. you have to produce the video as avi file


but really , dont use camtasia studio editer for videos cause it gives really bad color result use camtasia studio editer for only like gif animation files

this is what i suggest you , change your setting so all the records get on avi files to do this follow these steps:

2. then click on save as avi file (inside the black square) :



by doing this all your video recording will be saved as avi file then all you have to do its ; if your making gif animation file use camtasia editer and if you are making a real video i suggest you to use window movie maker , it gives better quality result
